Grounds open at 11:30 with introductions and smudging ceremony starting at 12 noon. We have great live entertainment , along with family games , face painting and tattoos for the kids! As always, the Canada Day Cake is free! There will be a cash only BBQ available as well.

Neebing Fire Chief Mark Shruiff has lifted the Neebing Fire Ban effective Friday June 13, 2025 at 9:00 am.
When a Fire Ban or Restricted Fire Zone is lifted, all previously issued permits are reinstated and there is no need to reapply.
Burn Permits are once again required for all open air burning in Neebing. Permits are issued for the burning of clean non-noxious material including paper, wood, limbs, leaves, needles, branches, grass, stumps and clean combustible wood products.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) approved Neebing's Official Plan that was adopted by Council under By-law 2022-029, subject to 14 modifications. A full list of the modifications is available on the Public Notices and Hearings page. A consolidated copy of the Official Plan is posted in the Business and Development section of the website.

On Thursday April 24, 2025, we were pleased to welcome the Honourable Minister Jill Dunlop, Minister of Emergency Preparedness and Response, and Deputy Minister Bernie Derible, Minister and Commissioner of Emergency Management to the Municipality of Neebing. BURN PERMITS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL OPEN AIR BURNING IN NEEBING DURING THE FIRE SEASON FROM APRIL 1 TO OCTOBER 31. Permits are issued for the burning of clean non-noxious material including paper, wood, limbs, leaves, needles, branches, grass, stumps and clean combustible wood products.
