There are support services available to citizens of Neebing who are in need of a helping hand.
The Rural Cupboard Food Bank is a non-profit volunteer run organization. They deliver 70-100 food hampers a month to families in need. Donations of non-perishable food items can be made at the Neebing Municipal Office. Visit the Rural Cupboard Food Bank website for more information.
the District of Thunder Bay Social Serices Administration Board (TBDSSAB) supports people to help improve their lives and become self-sufficient. TBDSSAB manages vital social services for individuals and families living in the Municipality of Neebing. TBDSSAB services include financial assistance, housing, homelssness prevention programs, and child care.

You may be eligible for a forgivable loan (forgiven at 10% per year) through the Ontario Renovates Program. The Ontario Renovates Program may be able to help you:
Ontario Renovates is designed to assist low to moderate income homeowners to make urgently needed home repairs to address home health and safety problems or to make modifications to their home to accommodate members with disabilities. You may also be eligible for a GRANT of up to $5,000 to make your home accessible for such items as ramps, chair lifts, handrails, height adjustments for counters, cues for doorbells/fire alarms. No repayment required if approved.
