The Municipality of Neebing and the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority have joined together to host the Little Trout Bay Fish Derby. This one day event is being held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Little Trout Bay Conservation Area.
The derby will run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Winners will be based on the cumulative weight of the "best-five" fish. Eligible Species include Lake Trout, Whitefish, and Salmon. Prizes for 1st Place: $1,000, 2nd Place: $600, and 3rd Place: $400

Appointment of New Acting Fire Chief
The Council of the Municipality of Neebing is pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2024, Mr. Mark Shruiff has been appointed as Acting Fire Chief to the Neebing Emergency Services department.

Neebing is hosting a red pine needle basket / bapakwanagemag makak making workshop that will be led by Corine Bannon.
Come out and learn how to make a basket. All materials are provided.
This event is being held at the Blake Hall on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
There is no set fee. Pay what you can.

Blake Community Hall 100th Anniversary Schedule of Events:
Friday September 13, 2024:
This two-day festival kicks off on Friday the 13th with the band HEADRUSH on the main stage from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.
Come hungry as NFRA will be firing up the BBQ and for a nominal fee, you can enjoy some hot dogs and hamburgers.
There will also be tea, coffee and some light snacks available.
Saturday September 14th:
Festival grounds open at 10:30 am.
11:30 - 12:00 pm - Singer JESSICA DURAND will be gracing the stage.
