Half Load Restrictions Lifted
On June 1, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. half load restrictions have been lifted from Municipality of Neebing roads.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ON TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2026, FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M., STURGEON BAY ROAD BETWEEN WALKER ROAD AND MINK MOUNTAIN DRIVE WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC.
Neebing Mayor Mark Thibert issued the emergency declaration on April 26, 2026, under Ontario’s Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act. The decision follows confirmation of a structural failure in a culvert located approximately 350 metres west of the Mink Mountain Drive intersection, which could worsen without warning.
