EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE - MUNICIPALITY OF NEEBING:

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ON TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2026, FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M., STURGEON BAY ROAD BETWEEN WALKER ROAD AND MINK MOUNTAIN DRIVE WILL BE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC to accommodate the emergency replacement of the failing Sturgeon Bay Road culvert.

To ensure public safety, emergency vehicles will be staged east of the closure should a response to the Island Ave, Mink Mountain Dr, Margaret St, and Sturgeon Bay Rd areas be required.

For residents who may need a location to wait during the construction period, Blake Community Hall, located at 71 Blake Hall Rd, will be open to the public for the duration of the emergency road closure.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this critical infrastructure repair is completed.

Municipal Road Maintenance 

Municipal road maintenance in Neebing includes snow plowing in the winter and grading, hole patching, and ditch maintenance in the summer.  If a municipal road needs the attention of our Public Works crew, please complete our Service Requests / Complaints form.

Please note that the Municipality does not address road issues on Provincial highways. To report a road hazard on Highways 593, 595, 597, 608, or 61 contact the Ministry of Transportation at 1-833-768-0293.
