Fire Update – Ground Crews Engaged in Suppression Efforts

Ground crews have reached the fire located between Kivela Road W and Palisades Road. Neebing Emergency Services crews, alongside members of the Gillies Fire Department, are on scene actively fighting the fire, with hose lines now in place and suppression efforts ongoing.

At this time, there is no danger to the public.

However, residents in the Highway 595 and Wamsley Road area are encouraged to remain alert and monitor for any changing conditions as emergency crews continue operations.

The Municipality thanks residents for their cooperation, support, and understanding while emergency personnel work to contain the fire safely.
