Fire Update: Crews Continue Responding to Fire Between Kivela Road W and Palisades Road

There is a fire located between Kivela Road W and Palisades Road, currently estimated to be approximately 2 hectares in size. MNR water bombers were deployed to the area last night to assist with suppression efforts.

Today, Neebing Emergency Services and members of the Gillies Fire Department remain on scene monitoring conditions and continuing response operations.

At this time, there are no additional details to report. The Municipality will continue to work closely with emergency response personnel and provide updates as information becomes available.

The next public update is expected at approximately 1:00 p.m.
