Municipal growth and development is guided by the Neebing Official Plan and Zoning By-Law. The Zoning By-Law is a by-law to regulate the use of land; the character, location and use of buildings and structures in the Municipality. The Official Plan forms the foundation of planning principles and provides direction help balance the need to encourage economic development with the need to protect and maintain the natural environment of Neebing. The Municipality's Zoning By-Law and Official plan follow the guidelines of the Planning Act which is a provincial policy aimed at promoting sustainable economic development in a healthy natural environment within municipalities.
