2016 ASSESSMENT Notices

MPAC mailed out assessment notices for residential properties in Neebing on May 2, 2016. The 2016 Assessment Notices are for the 2017 - 2021 property tax years. The deadline for requests for reconsideration for residential properties is August 30, 2016. Notices for all other property types will be mailed out in October 2016. If you have questions about your assessment, contact MPAC at 1-866-296-6722 or visit aboutmyproperty.ca.

Potential Closure of Bunt Lane and Cloud Bay Road North

Council will be seeking input from the public regarding the closure of Bunt Land and Cloud Bay Road North at the regular meeting of Council on October 5, 2016 at 6:30 pm. For more information and road locations, please visit the Public Consultation page.

NOTICE OF OPEN HOUSE

Please take note that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Neebing, together with its volunteer Neebing Recreation Committee, are hosting a Public “Open House” style meeting to consider input from members of the public relating to improvements to the public recreation areas at Oliver Lake (geographic Scoble Township).

The public recreation areas include the boat launch at West Oliver Lake (at the end of Podres Road West) and the swimming areas at East Oliver Lake (on the shoreline road allowance adjacent to East Oliver Lake Road).

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Blake Hall.  Any interested member of the public may attend the meeting to provide input and suggestions for Council’s consideration.  Alternatively, written comments may be provided to the Municipal Clerk at any time prior to noon on Thursday, October 13th, 2016.  All written comments received will be included in a report to Council for its regular meeting on October 19th.

Request for Proposals

The Municipality of Neebing is seeking proposals for the retention of a Firm to provide architectural and engineering services for construction drawings and construction cost estimates for our new Base Station (Fire Hall) project.  Interested parties may download the full Request for Proposals package by clicking the link below OR  visit our Municipal Office to pick up a copy.

Building Department Hours

Starting Monday, July 18, 2016, the Chief Building Official (CBO) will be in the municipal office on Mondays instead of Tuesdays.  The CBO will be in the office from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to respond to inquiries and will be in and out for inspections throughout the rest of the day. If you wish to speak with the CBO outside those hours please call to arrange an appointment.

Donate A Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for your Charity to benefit.
